12/17/11 Sad news

Member Wally Felldin has passed away. Memorial service will be held at the Church at 4pm Wednesday 12/21/11. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made to either the Church or the HHK Ambulance Corps.

Kids count!

Introducing kids to Christian values is perhaps one of the highest priorities of the Church. Living in a world saturated by materialism and self-gratification, the Church believes it's important to impart at a young age the Christian values of compassion and charity.

There is a weekly children's message at the Sunday services, and special events like the Vacation Bible School during the summer, as well as many other events during the year.
 

Vacation bible school

After several successful summer events, vacation bible school has become a much anticipated annual tradition at the Church.
Under the supervision of Donna Howell, Carol Bierwas and Sue Morch (with a lot of help from their young "crew leaders"), the children attend a Christian themed, fun filled camp right at the Church.

It's an inexpensive way for parents to introduce their youngsters to Christian values but most of all it's fun for the kids.
